Bowater Building Products – the UK’s leading manufacturer of energy efficient doors, windows and fenestration packages – has added two new Continuous Professional Development (CPD) seminars to its quality training package. And both – entitled – A Guide to Sustainable Curtain Walling and An Introduction to Energy Efficient Fenestration Solutions respectively – have been accredited by the CPD Certification Service, the independent body that vets continuing professional development courses and so provides quality assurance for training.

“Approval of these courses is the profession’s assurance that they are a valuable means of keeping up to date with the latest developments in construction technology, rather than just a promotion of the company’s own products,” said Michael Markham, Executive Chairman of the Construction CPD Certification Service.

These seminars demonstrate the energy and cost efficient solutions now available to, architects, quantity surveyors, contractors, clients and local authorities.

The Bowater Building Products seminars are available in a number of ways, including the CPD RoadSeminar Tour events, where 12 seminars from different companies are presented free of charge during the course of a single day; and individual presentations at company offices. A number of CPD certified seminars have already been booked at architects’ practices for 2011 and the company welcomes invitations from more.

Bowater Building Products has been a member of the CPD Construction Service, as part of its ongoing commitment to excellence in construction, since May 2010.
